Social Networks are the first real Interactive Systems

The last events in the north of Africa and the meadle east have shown how interactive and powerful the social networks are.

They start with a node that attracts other nodes who could imagine sharing some common interest. Hence a network system is built and takes several forms, contents, etc. This system has a high le vel of sensibility to himself and to his environment.
Every environmental event can change him. Also, he can adapt himself to make some changing on its own environments.
Social Networks reflect the Human behavior and can change it. Human can change easily and can be influenced by his own networks.

Democracy, Fear and Digital Technology

Democracy is against fear, when it exists. Defeating Fear has mostly been behind the major democratic movements. On the other hand, we can observe that getting rid of fear is very often manifested by aggressive actions. Many methodes and approaches have been developed to follow up Smart Democracy Reforms and to reduce their aggressiveness.

Digital Expression Spaces and Technology (DEST) have been very helpful in this area. Using nicknames, has allowed a kind of anonymat or maks "Oscar Wilde" says "Man is least himself when he talks in his own person.  Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth". In a way, DEST has broken the Fear sphere.

This fact has been proved those last months during the recent events in arabic countries. 

Therefore, DEST has not learnt yet to consider a truth threshold. Managing free expression is highly complexe, especially in an open online spaces.  Below this complex threshold, truth could belong to hypocrisie, above it could be perceived as agressive.
